FIRST AID
This course gives lay responders the skills necessary to provide care in an emergency, help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until medical help arrives. It teaches how to recognize and care for victims of injury or sudden illness plus how to treat cuts, bruises, bone and muscle injuries, shock, bleeding and other first aid emergencies. Upon completion of course, participants receive a high-color, multi-fold skills card, a student manual, and a certification card.

FIRST AID AND CPR/AED ADULT
In addition to teaching standard first aid care for sudden illnesses, muscle, and bone injuries, this course trains lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults. It instructs how to move an ill or injured person, how to care for a person who is choking, how to give rescue breaths and chest compressions as well as how to operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Upon completion of course, participants receive two high-color, multi-fold skills reference cards, a student manual, and a certification card for each component.

FIRST AID AND CPR/AED ADULT AND CHILE PLUS CPR INFANT
This course trains lay responders to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. It provides the knowledge and skills necessary to minimize the pain and consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives. It instructs participants how to move an ill or injured person, how to administer care for a person who is choking, how to give rescue breaths and chest compressions as well as how to operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Upon completion of course, participants receive three high-color, multi-fold skills reference cards, a student manual, and a certification card for each component.

CRR/AED FOR THE PROFESSIONAL RESCUER
This course is designed to teach professional rescuers or healthcare providers the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies and includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to care for a victim of cardiac arrest. It includes adult, child and infant components as well as two-person CPR. Also covered are the legal considerations that affect a professional rescuer. Upon completion of course, participants receive a student manual, a pocket mask breathing barrier, and a certification card. (No First Aid certification is given in this course).
