BABYSITTERS TRAINING
The purpose of this course is to provide individuals ages 11 to 15 with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or adult guardians. This training will help participants develop skills in leadership and professionalism, basic care, safety and safe play, and first aid. Upon completion of course, participants receive a student manual, a first aid kit/portfolio and a certification card.

BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS TRAINING
This course will train and provide individuals with an understanding of the bloodborne pathogens regulation issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to help prevent exposure incidents by following work practice controls, practicing good personal hygiene and properly cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supplies. Upon completion of course, participants receive a student manual and a certification card.

K.N.O.W. HIV PREVENTION EDUCATION
This course is based on the curriculum for the Washington State four hour HIV/AIDS prevention education course. The material covered includes the definition, stages, and effects of the disease as well as transmission, infection control, and treatment. It is a lecture based course meant to provide knowledge about the physical and emotional aspects of individuals suffering from HIV or AIDS and the impact of the disease on the world population. Upon completion of course, participants receive a student packet and a certification card.
